    About the Company:White House is a manufacturer and two-star exporter of Cotton and Blended Knit garments, since 1985 to the European, UK, US, and Australian markets. Currently, we supply to world-wide reputed brands, who have their outlets in over 36 countries.
    We have a vertically integrated set up and all the operations required for making Knit Garments are in-house.
    We produce a wide range of products for Men, Women, & Children Garments, based on Customer specification

    Key Responsibilities
    • Book orders for the working hours based on production efficiency.
    • Provide files to the planning team to load monthly working minutes to achieve a management efficiency
    • Verify and approve every costing before negotiation
    • Prepare a forecast of probable Order quantity, SMS quantity, and grey quantity six months prior to the start of the season.
    • Plan and execute orders properly in every season without delays in deliveries
    • Analyze every product received from the buyer and accept based on the capability and productivity
    • Analyze and follow up to complete the weekly/daily events.
    • Negotiate with the buyer and get the best possible price for the company
    • Assign Merchandising Managers to each Client based on their experience, comfort level with the complexity, and/or volume of jobs involved
    • Obtain fabric consumption from GMT and order fabric as per the fabric and sew rejection norms.
    • Ensure that the sampling team is given input on time to execute on-time delivery.
    • Collaborate with Planning and exports team.
    • Develop Standard Operating procedures for Merchandising, Purchase of Fabrics & Trims, and Sampling functions, review and update them at regular intervals.
    • Suggest simplifying the procedures based on input from merchandisers and getting it approved by Management and enforce the same.
    • Ensure retention of the client by sending out relevant communications to the client on behalf of the management when the situation warrants the same or in case of escalation.
    • Conduct regular meetings with key buyers and take feedback on satisfaction levels, discuss the latest trends and provide suggestions based on designs provided by the technical team.
    • Analyze feedback/complaints from the customer to find out the customer satisfaction/dissatisfaction level.
    • Device feasible solution/actions to increase customer satisfaction and present findings during the Management Review Meetings.
    • Develop & manage competitive intelligence functions to anticipate market trends, and identify key industry players to support the strategic decision.
    • Track competitive products, merchandising & pricing strategy using all ethical means available & present key issues & learning to the team to enhance sales, customer retention & satisfaction on discussion with Director
    • Ensure that market & competitive information remains current & are kept up-to-date.
    • Study buyer trends Quantities and values over the years across seasons and record
    • Execute repeat orders in a short lead-time to increase business volume with the customer, and to reduce the number of complaints.
    • Analyze the reason for late deliveries if any, and initiate action to ensure the shortcomings pertaining to the merchandising department are tackled.
    • Have regular cordial meetings with the Business heads and other job workers (vendors) to whom processes are outsourced to ensure smooth material flow.
    • Identify new buyers in old and new markets and analyze their requirements and send out marketing communication to invite for association with Whitehouse in coordination with the Marketing team.
