    Job Overview

    Offering process engineering guidance and technical expertise to operational departments with the goal of achieving safe and consistent plant performance.

    Main Duties:

    • Providing technical insights in EHSS activities such as MOCs, PHAs, HazOps, PSERs, and validating EHSS-related calculations.
    • Assisting operational departments in meeting Sustainability KPIs.
    • Conducting requested assessments to enhance safe performance and reach production targets by utilizing the PESR system.
    • Evaluating new process engineering advancements to suggest enhancements in current facilities and serving as the primary contact for addressing process-related technical service requests (TSRs).
    • Regularly monitoring critical operational parameters to evaluate equipment performance for optimal operation and formulating plant load optimization recommendations when appropriate.
    • Supporting operational departments in process project tasks including compiling process design packages (CDPs), CBP reviews, and relevant plant process alterations.
    • Aiding Operating plants in process feasibility studies, BEDD PDP FEED detailed engineering, execution, testing, commissioning, and project start-ups to ensure regulatory compliance involvement in Mega projects for essential technical backing.
    • Participating in operating plants' start-ups and shutdowns while contributing to investigations of unplanned plant halts.
    • Engaging in process-related Reliability Methodologies of operating plants.
    • Conducting analyses on persistent process issues and presenting short/long-term solution recommendations.
    • Acting as the PETROKEMYA representative in licensor and other affiliated company communications by exchanging expertise and knowledge to address technical issues.

    Qualifications:

    • This position requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
    • B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering.
    • 10 years of experience as a process engineer in the petrochemical industry, specifically at an ABS plant (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene).
