Our client, a market leader in the consumer industry, manufacturing high quality products, and a key major player in other segments, is looking for a COMMERCIAL FINANCE MANAGER

General Purporse:

Serves as Finance Business Partner and provide financial decision support to management, Sales and Marketing teams. Provides monthly profitability analysis to report and track Business Performance by Area / Customer / Brand. Provide commercial financial insights to improve business / profit performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with the review of monthly P&L by area/customer/brand with Sales and Marketing teams
  
  
• Works with the Sales and Marketing teams to understand key drivers of P&L performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  
  
• Prepares and analyzes monthly P&L reports by area/customer/brand for management reporting.
  
  
• Prepares updated Price Lists for new SKUs and price changes for National and Key Accounts as needed.
  
  
• Prepares Feasibility Analyses to evaluate profitability of planned programs and major promotions to assist with managements decision-making.
  
  
• Monitors and evaluates Profitability of Key Programs by preparing periodic program P&L. Assists in identifying key elements and recommends ways to maximize profitability and/or reduce expenses.
  
  
• Leads and manages special projects and ad hoc analysis as required
  

* Cross-Functional Performance

• Leads regular meetings with GT and MT Sales Directors and Area/Key Account Managers on Profitability Review by Area and Customer.
  
  
• Leads regular meetings with Marketing Director and Brand Managers on Profitability Review by Brand/SKU.
  
  
• Coordinates with Marketing and Sales on preparation of Updated/New Price Lists.
  
  
• Coordinates with Sales and Marketing teams on alignment of assumptions and inputs to prepare
  
• Feasibility Analyses for Key Programs and Promotions, as well as post-program evaluations
  

* Reporting

• Monthly Profitability Report by Area, Customer, Brand / SKU
  
• Price Lists for National and Key Accounts
  
• Management reports
  
• Gross Margin Analysis quarterly
  
• Feasibility and Sensitivity Analyses
  
• Program Evaluation for major programs and promotions
  

* Continuous Improvement

• Continuous automation of profitability reports to minimize manual preparation of reports
  
  
• Business updates to understand brand / marketing strategies, market drivers, competitor pricing, etc
  
  
• Management reporting enhancements and customization to ensure identification of key factors driving profitability increase/decrease.
  

* Others

• Provide finance business support on key Sales and Marketing initiatives
  
• Assist with new projects as needed
  

Requirements

Education: Candidate must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably CPA.

Job Related Experience/Training: With at least 3- 5 years experience in Commercial Finance or Financial Planning and Analysis, including management reporting, variance
analysis and sensitivity analysis in a FMCG company

Knowledge & Skills: Highly Proficient in MS Office especially in MS Excel. With knowledge of Oracle or other ERP systems. With leadership skills, high attention to
details, confidentiality, proactiveness and resilience.
