• Responsible for Tendering & Estimation Elec. Work activities  , 
• Pricing all various Electrical and Low voltage systems. For the Tendering projects.
•  Pricing all Electrical activities and works with preparing accurate electrical quotations 
•  For projects with the main contractor.
• Taking off the contractual quantity that show in BOQ. & Tender Drawing.
• Giving an electrical Design proposals for any Architectural work, and preparing Pricing and Estimation study for all new electrical activities.
• For design and build projects, preparing electrical drawing and budgeting the electrical sys activity as Cost and estimation study.
• Prepare price inquiry for the tender Electrical Items as shown in Drawing and Boq and mention Item Description as mention and described in Elec specifications.
• Contacting with electrical sys suppliers and vendors in order to submit the prices inquires for all different electrical items. 
• Negotiate with suppliers to can estimate and ensure the lowest pricing for project cost analysis.
• Calculate the required materials Qty. & Lengths for cables & wires from Dwg for 

the electrical Purchasing orders.

• Prepare an accurate Elec. Bill of Quantity. For any future proposed activity
• Preparing an estimated cost sheets for any Elec. Work Variation orders.
• Analyze the cost of electrical work prices that given from subcontractors..
• Contacting with electrical vendors and suppliers to prepare cost budget for project
• Study tendering drawing and sending inquiry letters for suppliers in order to price the scope of elec. Work at tendering stage.

• Calculate the Electrical loads and operating current for elec. Equipment’s and 

wiring devices.

• Voltage drop calculation and Short circuit for all project cables.
• Cable sizing selection considering the current carrying capacity, Loads & VD) 

from Gulf cable Ref..

• Selecting Transformer rate & Generator sizing according to MEW Regulations
• Propose and check the rating of Power Factor Correction Bank.
• Rearrange the shop Dwg’s. / deciding modifications in order to ensure better solution for site work and to reduce materials cost.
• Ensuring achievement of the best drawings quality to be as per the the BS. codes , MEW Regulations .

• Discussing with the consultant Engineers and attend coordination meetings in
