Duties and Responsibilities:

Sourcing out manufacturers/suppliers for medical Equipment and supplies in and around the region.

Tracking the Purchase orders and payments to the suppliers
❖
Outlining the goals and objectives of the sourcing and category plans to include cost reduction, supplier consolidation, risk mitigation, or innovation promotion.
❖
Ensuring that the necessary shipping documents are prepared or verifying that the supplier’s documentation are in-line with the Customs regulations.
❖
Liaising with suppliers and review contract terms to identify opportunities for optimization.
❖
Inform key stakeholders on suitable procurement sourcing strategies and the development of risk mitigation strategies.
❖
Compare and do a pre-cost flow & procurement plan analysis for every major project for better budgeting.
❖
Nominating shipping agents by reviewing, comparing the prices and services and payment terms to execute the shipments.
❖
Managing inventory/stock levels and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records to provide sales analysis as required by the management.
❖
Monitor, report and manage supplier performance, ensuring the quality of goods/service is maintained at the required standards which is part of the Integral Management System / ISO Quality Management System.

Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.

Analyzing the inventory reports for any discrepancies and thereby making the necessary adjustments to resolve any arising problems or complaints
