    Lieu de travail : Laval

    Au sein de l'équipe Infrastructures urbaines, à titre de Surveillant de chantier :Vos responsabilités

    • Coordonner, superviser et encadrer les autres surveillants de chantier et surveillants stagiaires;
    • Agit à titre de mentor et de spécialiste technique au terrain pour le département d'infrastructures urbaines ;
    • Surveiller chaque étape du travail pour s'assurer de la qualité de l'exécution auprès de l'entrepreneur;
    • Inciter les intervenants à respecter les règles de sécurité au travail en vigueur au chantier;
    • Lire les plans et devis, les interpréter, les comparer aux travaux et faire rapport des écarts constatés;
    • Examiner la qualité d'exécution des travaux parachevés pour s'assurer qu'elle est conforme aux normes;
    • Valider les quantités en lien avec les ouvrages exécutés dans le but de recommander le paiement de ceux-ci;
    • Participer à la négociation des avenants avec l'entrepreneur ;
    • Rédiger des rapports journaliers sur la progression des travaux;
    • Gérer les communications avec les citoyens au chantier ;
    • Exécuter toute autre tâche connexe à la demande de son supérieur immédiat.

    Votre profil

    • DEC en génie civil;
    • Minimum de 10 années d'expérience pertinente en infrastructures municipales (travaux d'égouts, aqueducs, chaussée);
    • Aptitudes en rédaction de rapports et en travail d'équipe multidisciplinaire;
    • Maîtrise du logiciel Autocad (un atout);
    • Expérience en arpentage (un atout);
    • Posséder un permis de conduire valide;
    • Maîtrise de la langue française (parlée et écrite).
