I am a data management expert currently leading initiatives in the MENA region for Harbour Energy. My team's focus is on developing and executing a comprehensive data management strategy that prioritizes data integrity and quality, all supported by strong governance frameworks. With extensive experience in digital transformation and a proven history of leading data quality assurance efforts, we ensure that our data practices align seamlessly with organizational goals, fostering accountability and stewardship across various business units.

I bring a deep expertise in GIS database administration and data workflow development, collaborating with IT, vendors, and stakeholders to address data quality challenges and implement corporate standards. Together, we contribute to driving innovation and enhancing efficiency in sustainable energy practices within the organization.

I'm a geophysics graduate who started career directly in major corporates as seismic data processing geophysicist in SLB in January 2011. Then, I found myself more interested in data management and digital transformation initiatives matching with a good graduate program position in Shell Egypt as Technical Data Management Analyst  as part of the subsurface workflow support team providing services for MENA & Caspian regions (9 countries) from November 2013 to November 2022. Then, I was offered a leadership position in another mid-size german company “Wintershall DEA” from January 2023 until January 2024 as Data Management Lead for Egypt BU. In February 2024, My scope has changed to be supporting MENA region (Egypt, Libya & Algeria).

Early September 2024, Harbour Energy has acquired Wintershall DEA so my current position is MENA Region Data Management Lead in Harbour Energy.

I've graduated from Alexandria University, Class 2010 Geophysics Department. I was first ranked in my class.

Recently, I've started my Master's Degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence in University of York online Master's program.

I started February 2024, expected to be graduated early 2027.

I'm a consistent learner, I've got Nano Degree in Data Analysis, certified as Professional Scrum Master PSM-I and several courses and online certifications in Machine Learning, Data Science, Analytics and Project Management.
