Professional Experience

Alshaya GROUP -2007 -Till
Alshaya is one of the key supplying chains responsible for Retailing and Trading goods and materials.  Logistics oversight included material planning and scheduling, forecasting, inventory management, order management, and sales/operations planning process. Working with the latest WMS/ILS technologies on a global scale and assisting business transformation teams in designing, and delivering projects on time and in budget. 

Currently supporting as a Warehouse Manager for Support Function. Logistics function with responsibility for:
Warehouses 70 000+ sqm & Warehouse staff 500+,
Providing daily service to 300+ stores across a portfolio of 77+ world-renowned brands in Fashion, Home Furniture, Cosmetics, Footwear, Food Brands, SBX, and E-commerce.
Reporting to the Manager of Operations and Support responsible for procurement, logistics, and Productivity. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Led IT and stakeholders in the implementation of WMS.
• Maintain security and good housekeeping.
• Plan and coordinate stock take & cycle count.
• Assist in the budgeting process and prepare weekly reports.
• We are maintaining day-to-day office functions.
• Local and international correspondence with stakeholders. 
• Technical realization of configured-based interfaces to central WMS systems.
• Support of live systems as well as upgrades and enhancements.
• Lead all the WMS/ILS and logistics activities.
• A key member of support for the integration of the Host System with central warehouse management systems.
• Managing day-to-day communications with BT & ST regarding ICT of multiple markets.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.

Projects Included: 

• Provide analytical/practical project support if required. 
• Leading and implementing the role out of the plan for all departments, innovating operational procedures, creating the design, and implementing the training plan for all the staff.
• Driving the flow to new processes where the WH team can archive the KPIs more within the time frame.
• Work with Project teams in a leading role.
• Led the W/H migration process in a new structure with the new process.

International Projects:

• Selected as the lead for the implantation of the company’s largest brand HM in multiple markets; Egypt, Qatar, and UAE. 
• Key communicator & liaison between all the internal & external stakeholders.
• Manage supporting team & provide coaching, mentoring & direction.

Summary

My experience includes leadership of Logistics across multiple brands in Alshaya Group. This fusion of expertise enhanced my leadership style, Problem Solving, Decision Making, People Management, and Project management and develop my ability to operate on a regional level with direct reporting to senior management.
My position in the Kuwait market of Alshaya Group. Allowed me to succeed in knowledge in a rapidly growing international business environment and gain a strong understanding of multiple retail logistics systems along with management and business administration skills.
