Responsibilities:

• Commanding end-to-end procurement/sourcing activities, negotiating, and identifying innovative solutions that support procurement optimization, improved quality, delivery, pricing, and lead times.
• Directing all procurement activities including pre-qualifications, negotiating supplier agreements, contract preparation and tender management.
• Ownership of end-to-end procurement cycle right from issuance of purchase request until the delivery.
• Approving ordering of goods and services. Receiving purchase requests, reviewing, and developing specifications for the requested materials, equipment, systems, and services.
• Recommending contract awards, subsequent to establishing technical scope, intellectualizing legal details, terms & conditions, financial figures, invoicing/payments procedures, tasks & milestones, and execution scenarios.
• Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors. Expert strategic negotiator/influencer, negotiating suppliers’ quotations technically & commercially & driving down the cost whilst sustaining quality & service levels from suppliers.
