I deeply believe that a balanced curriculum should reflect the diverse needs of each student, fostering a holistic educational atmosphere. My educational philosophy revolves around the idea that students should be challenged to perform at their best, supported by a team of committed professionals dedicated to their growth. This climate is cultivated through mutual trust, openness, and collaboration, allowing students to evolve into self-respecting, independent thinkers, ready to transition confidently into their next educational or professional phase. Creating a sense of community within the school is pivotal; it instils confidence and encourages engagement. I understand that achieving this vision requires not just excellent teaching staff but also effective policies and procedures and high-quality facilities. Therefore, my goal is to create an environment where every pupil can achieve excellence in their learning journey, with clear pathways guiding them towards their aspirations.

Create analytical reports on examination performance and value added.

• To implement school policies and procedures. To also create new ones to restructure the sixth form.

•Developing teaching and learning strategies within the sixth Form.

• Use school MIS and ALIS to set student targets.

•To set staff individual targets and carry out staff Performance Management.

• Working with sixth form tutors and staff to create routine, structure and consistency.

• Developing an up to date extra – curricular programme.

• Creating links/ talks/ invitations to understand working in the real world as a professional. working professions, medicine/ law/ engineering/ Design and many more.

• Creating an up to date UCAS programme, focusing on year 12 with a range of university trips, talks, seminars ranging from Oxbridge, St Annes, kings and many more valued relationships.

• Ensuring all students apply through UCAS.

•Developing CPD sessions with external companies and resources.

•Introducing learning walks and book looks within the whole of sixth form.

•Ensuring staff meet the teaching standards and job description criteria from tutors, support staff, teaching staff.

•Managing underperforming staff members.

• Introduction of regular mock examinations and data drops to ensure intervention and tracking can be giving to support all students to reach their next accessible levels.

• Developing a mock examination timetable and. Intervention period 7 timetable.

•Monitoring under performing students to reach/meet target grades.

•Developing curricular plans, schedules and timetabling.

•Running and developing a student leadership team.

• Introduction to outside resources such as the Nest, Heads up, school of hard knocks to ensure a safe space/ mental wellbeing.

• High level of pastoral care, calling of students/ parents/ carers for rewards, follow ups, general care.

• Introduction to self-awareness and care programme. A high integrated PSHE timetable and assembly programme.

• Behavioural management from exclusions/ detentions/ interventions/ rewards.

• whole school responsibility. OnCall, duties, running whole school detentions, assemblies, late gate.

• Preparing routines, structure for the next Ofsted inspection. (Has since been may 2022)
