Hala Alliddawi

I am a recent graduate from Concordia University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. My academic background has equipped me with a solid foundation in understanding human behaviour, cognitive processing, and the importance of mental health. I strive to help people understand and cope with their emotions. I am passionate in applying my knowledge and the principles of Psychology in the real-world and can work through any challenge that I am faced with. I am currently seeking opportunities everywhere where I can leverage my knowledge and make an impact in the field of mental health. 

 I have volunteered in a non-profit organisation in looking after and organising activities for children. This has provided me with a sense of responsibility and required me to deal with children during altercations and to also have to deal with parents in a professional manner. I   also have experience in animal welfare for around 5 months, which has allowed me to also deal with issues in terms of the animals and providing me with the experience to set up meetings with pet owner, as well as having direct interaction with pet owners to deal with any situation. I strive to look for new positions in school or university counselling for students and further help students understand the importance of mental health. 

I received my High School Diploma from the American School of Kuwait, while having received my Bachelors Degree from Concordia University in the Summer of 2024.
