Aug 2019 to Present : Atheer United Company WLL, Hawalli, Kuwait as Managing Partner

Highlights:

• Spearhead business specialized in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil projects with an annual turnover of KWD 1M - 1.8 M.
• Led a team of 10 individuals with defined job scopes and responsibilities ensuring resource optimization illustrated in service delivery. Mapped processes and revamped the entire SOP structure to fit a modern, lean and active organization.
• Strategize and administer tool marketing initiative to introduce the company to the commercial residential vertical resulting in a couple of medium sized projects.
• Extend support in optimizing employee production by 25% by cutting down process time and shuffling capabilities of staff members for best position fits.
• Manage projects E2E in resource planning, material supply, client interface and project budgeting. Took full ownership of company’s balance sheet and P&L.

Mar 2015 to Jul 2019: Honeywell, Mina Abdullah, Kuwait as Supply Chain Leader

Highlights:

• Directed a team of 9 direct reports in Kuwait for a portfolio annual spend >USD 250M; received 35 team recognitions awards YoY when they were practically non-existent prior to my tenure at Honeywell.
• Drove FTE by 30% through cutting down on processes, administration of lean continued improvements and shuffling overhead.
• Downsized AVL by circa 25% and emulated vendor management through QBR’s, associated score cards, site audits and a robust management of the P2P and P2L processes.
• Supported projects to drive working capital gains through a major reshuffle and organization of the existing 400 sqm warehouse resulting in massive inventory reduction.
• Introduced Bill Discounting for the first time in Kuwait and enhanced payment terms to an avg of 25 days which resulted in an impact of USD 800K gain in working capital.
• Exceeded regional KPI’s by triple the figures for 2016 in only Q3, doubled in 2017 and over exceeded 2018 KPI’s where post savings doubled the target as early as Q2 2018.
• Achieved circa USD 4.3M in cost savings virtually single handed in a span of 4 years. Finalized a rebate agreement with one of the major suppliers resulting in circa USD 110K in annual savings.
• Assumed Committee Member role for the implementation of company’s Lean Management System into Kuwait and played a major part in achieveing certification.
• Recipient of the GM award and 8 recognition certificates with the 9th from the region office.

Sep 2011 to Feb 2015: Safwan Petroleum Technologies (EPC Contractor), Ahmadi, Kuwait as Supply Chain Manager

Highlights:

• Mentored team of 4 direct reports in Kuwait for a portfolio annual spend > USD 360M.
• Conducted full P2P on several projects. 3 major EPC projects: KOC WK Gas Compression and Re Injection Plant valued at USD 72M, KOC NK Operations and Maintenance on Early Production Facility 50 valued at USD 80M and KOC WK Gas Sweetening Plant valued at USD 70M.
• Developed and managed Kuwait Approved Supplier Lists. Established and worked on automating the Supply Chain work flow to initiate an ERP system in the company.
• Steered cyclic and random stock counts with a registered accuracy of 96%, improving JIT in the warehouse.
• Achieved cost saving 21% of annual spend of circa USD 360M.

Jun 2009 to Aug 2011: IMCO Engineering and Construction Company (EPC Contractor) and CANAR Construction WLL (Civil / Mech Contractor), Ahmadi, Kuwait as Supply Chain Manager 

Highlights:

• Managed a team of 16 direct reports in Kuwait and another 7 direct reports in Qatar for a portfolio annual spend > USD 290M
• Took full ownership of 3 refinery shut downs attaining an appreciation letter from Operations Team.
• Conducted full P2P on several projects. 3 major EPC projects: Revamp of Effluent Treatment Facilities at MAA, MAB & SHU Refineries valued at USD 105M, Maintenance Contract of Mina Al Ahmadi valued at USD 18M and KOC Integrated Security for all NK GC’s and BS’s valued at USD 320M.
