Experienced teacher with an in-depth working knowledge of curriculum development. I worked in various schools and had fifteen years of teaching experience before moving to Kuwait. I am seeking new opportunities to develop and grow. An excellent communicator, highly adaptable and energetic, works well under pressure showing initiative and imagination. I would describe myself as a competitive and responsible goal achiever. I have teaching experience in rural and private schools. I have worked with a diverse mixture of learning barriers, as well as, having experience working with children experiencing language barriers. I have worked using the CAPS document, the Cambridge policy, and the American system. These experiences have made me a better educator and taught me discipline. I learned to overcome many challenges and found different teaching styles to accommodate diverse learners and cultivate the learners' needs and abilities.

Foundation phase teaching is very important to me because it helps young children build a strong foundation for learning. This is the stage where they develop essential skills like reading, writing, and understanding numbers. It's also when they start learning how to express themselves and build confidence. I love being part of this process and helping children grow, setting them up for future success.
