  1. Sales and Marketing Manager  – at ATC ( FMCG ) : 30-June-2021 – Till now :

 

Items working on : Diaries : 10 Items  , Organic : 60 , Beverage : 4 , Chocolate : 6 , Cold cuts : 6 , Non-food : 8 , Frozen Vegetables : 9 

 

Brief :   Started the with ATC from the scratch I joined as 1st employee so I setup  the whole department and the brands and give support for whole department to understand FMCG business ( GR , Finance , IT , WH) .

 

Segments: COOPS , Key account , Traditional trade , E-Commerce . 

 

Rules in ATC : 

 

A ) Pricing : 

 

  • Set pricing policy for all items by cost analyst and Depend on the competitors and market prices.
  • Contact and negotiate with Kuwait Union of coops to settle item prices depend on their instruction and their price comparison. 
  • Set profit margin for each item in normal and promotional type.
  • Negotiate with supplier to get best CIF or EXW of the items.
  • Coordinate with supplier to set the correct RSP depend of Kuwaiti market.
  • Negotiate with supplier to get best support for Listing fees and launching plan plus visibility support. 
  • Decide promotion percentage and policy.

 

B) Trade marketing -Promotions

 

  • Negotiate with ATC customers to get better visibility for our brands inside their stores.
  • Supervise co-packing process for promotions and bundles. 
  • Negotiate with marketing agencies to get proper quotation for printing POSM , Branding inside shops and sampling activities . 
  • Decide items which need promotions and improvements by analyst monthly sales report. 
  • Scan competitor’s activities (Discounts and visibility). 

 

C) Sales :

  • Set Monthly and yearly sales forecast for normal and promotional items depend on market and reports study.
  • Set monthly sales Target by brand and by SKU. 
  • Set sales team commissions and bonus and their profitability depend on companies goals .  
  • Supervise sales team to reach monthly sales target and provide them proper support to reach company’s goal. 
  • Review and revise ATC contracts with local customers to set the RSP & PTT plus the rebate percentages.
  • Handling  returns and near expiries by liquidating it in cost price 

 

 

D) Items Registrations –License and shipments clearance : 

  • Adjust and review labels information’s for new items to match Kuwait food authority instructions.
  • Give advices and for GR department for company’s licenses and requested  paper 
  • Follow up with WH team for stock reports and quantities.
  • Coordinate with WH and suppliers quality control department to store products in proper way depend on their specifications. 
  • Follow up with supply chain department to get Kuwait food authority approval of new shipments ( Lab test + Bayan release ). 
  •  

E) PO :

  • Do the purchase orders for shipments and determine requested quantities (Normal plus promotional) depend on the Marketing plan and support budget. 

 

 

F) Returns and Liquidations : 

  • Handling  returns and near expiries by liquidating it in cost price 

 

 

G) Exhibitions :

 

  • Attend international exhibition and meet new supplier in order to bring new brand (Dubai and KSA ) .
