    Job Title: Works Manager

    Main Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement systems and procedures to enhance departmental efficiency and quality.
    • Foster a skilled and motivated workforce.
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor of Business Administration (Management) degree with at least 15 years of experience in managing fabrication workshops that manufacture steel structures, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, piping, manifolds, chemical injection skids, etc.
    • Technical expertise in ERP environments and Good QHSE drives.
    • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, as well as effective communication and technical knowledge.
    • Strong understanding of ASME and ANSI vessel and piping codes.
    • Proficiency in computer applications.

    Detailed Job Description

    1. Plan and execute production processes to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime.
    2. Direct production staff in the analysis and preparation of reports.
    3. Provide specialist technical expertise for ensuring safe and cost-effective production methods.
    4. Cordinate with sub-contractors activities and monitor production processes.
    5. Manage procurement function and usage of consumables required for production process.
    6. Conduct interviews, hire new staff, and provide employee orientation.
    7. Establish employee goals and conduct regular performance reviews, leave plan, safety training and job development.
    8. Communicate with Foreman, Managers, Executive Vice President on Department operations.
    9. Implement continuous improvements in employee performance and reliability.
