    • Field Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting in the field on a daily basis or as required.
    • T&Is and Emergency Shutdowns: Take part in major Turnarounds and Inspections as well as emergency plant shutdowns.
    • Support Maintenance Organizations: Assist maintenance teams by creating repair procedures and following up on repairs.
    • Fulfill Audit Activities: Participate in facility audit tasks.
    • Engineering Support: Provide engineering assistance for repairing hydrocarbon leaks, reviewing and approving bolted clamp calculations, and designs by leak sealing contractors.
    • Detailed Drawings and Specifications: Review detailed drawings and material specifications for piping modifications when requested.
    • HAZOP Studies: Participate in the review of HAZOP Studies.
    • Piping Mechanical Calculations: Perform various piping mechanical calculations including wall thickness, branch reinforcement, pressure calculations, and more.
    • Technical Assessments: Conduct technical assessments for various mechanical items like expansion joints, valves, and injectors.
    • Hot Tap Calculations: Follow company standards for Hot Tap calculations.
    • Valve Selection and Torque Calculations: Troubleshoot valve selection issues and perform torque calculations for valve stems.
    • Spring Hangers and Gaskets: Select spring hangers, specify gasket types, and provide maintenance with appropriate repair procedures.
    • Firefighting Systems: Assess firefighting equipment, perform hydraulic calculations, and evaluate fire systems.
    • Structural Calculations: Conduct basic structural calculations for temporary supports and minor modifications.
    • Metallurgical Recommendations: Recommend metallurgical changes with Corrosion and Inspection specialists.
    • Welding Procedures: Develop welding procedures for mechanical component repairs and obtain approvals from welding specialists.
