    About the position

The User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) Designer will support the development and creative design of the geospatial tools being developed by the SERVIR-Amazonia hub. Since 2019, the hub has been designing and developing several services with regional co-developers to utilize satellite data and geospatial information for sustainable natural resource management decisions throughout the Amazon Basin. These services often culminate in the delivery of online tools, smartphone apps and similar tools for the use of multiple local and regional stakeholders, which require user-friendly interfaces.

Therefore, the UX/UI Designer will be a creative contributor, to look critically at how the users will interact with data and develop strategies on how users will interface with analysis, tools and platforms.
