Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Officer based in Sulaibiya. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for overseeing purchasing activities, preparing and processing purchase orders, and establishing supplier relationships. The role requires negotiating contracts, monitoring vendor performance, and ensuring procurement systems comply with company policies. Additionally, the role involves budgeting, managing inventory levels, and analyzing procurement data to develop cost-saving strategies.
Qualifications
Expertise in Procurement, Purchasing, and Purchase Orders processes
Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and decision-making capabilities
Proficiency in Analytical Skills to evaluate procurement data and identify opportunities for efficiency
Proven ability to manage budgets and supplier relationships effectively
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Previous experience in a procurement or supply chain role is preferred
Familiarity with supply chain software and tools is advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
