- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards, applicable laws and regulations.
- Understand owner/client design requirements prior to the commencement of any design project; coordinate with the Lead Engineer and other architects & engineers for further clarifications on design requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with other architects and engineers throughout project lifecycles (planning, concept, preliminary, final etc.); review and understand their drawings and specifications to ensure that adequate provisions in HVAC design are made based on the designs provided by the other sections.
- Assist Lead Engineer to prepare Concept Design reports & related documents.
- Allocate, prioritize and check the work of a team of modelers/draftsmen
- Utilize the latest international codes and making use of engineering software such as HAP and related software
- Develop the CFD model and adapt boundary conditions as per the design.
- Complete the mesh structure and apply the proper meshing scheme.
- Apply the proper turbulence model as per the design case.
- Solve meshing problems and identify sources of errors.
- Lead junior engineers and provide the required guidance.
- Allocate tasks to engineers and follow up work progress
- Run the CFD analysis and remark the deviation and conversion parameters
- Produce CFD reports complete with executive conclusions.
- Prepare and analyze the results and make mathematical and technical check.
- Provide the required recommendations in HVAC design to meet the acceptance criteria.
