The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for DSO operations while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

This role combines technical knowledge with procurement expertise to evaluate supplier capabilities, manage risks, and maintain strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support Service Center requirements and drive procurement strategies in line with industry best practices..

How You'll Make an Impact

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on technical specifications, quality standards, and cost criteria.
• Collaborate with Service Center teams to understand technical requirements and assist in defining procurement specifications.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Work closely with project management, Service Center management, finance, and legal teams to streamline the procurement process.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier performance, and contract negotiations.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing within a Service Center or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of technical principles and specifications.
• Proven track record in contract negotiation and vendor management.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
