- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems, including generators, switchgear, motor starters, and protection systems;
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems;
- Conducting investigations and root-cause failure analysis;
- Providing appropriate recommendations for the failure of electrical equipment;
- Maintaining records of maintenance activities in a maintenance planning system like MAXIMO;
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times when working with electrical equipment and systems;
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, standards, etc;
- Providing effective reporting, communication, and shift handover skills.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical discipline for oil and gas production facilities or refineries;
- Experience with maintenance planning system like MAXIMO;
- Good knowledge in investigations and root cause failure analysis and provide appropriate recommendations for the failure of electrical equipment;
- Effective reporting, communication, and shift handover skills;
- Familiarity with PTW (Permit to Work), confined space entry, electrical isolations, operating integrity, H2S/SO2 (Hydrogen Sulfide/Sulfur Dioxide), personal protective equipment (PPE), etc;
- Adequate knowledge on Electrical PPE and protection.
